- Telephone support

- Service description
- AI explanations of words and short passages, saving and organizing knowledge, suggested connections and knowledge notes, synchronization across devices, and Markdown export. Available features and devices will be specified at general release.
- Planned price
- For Japan: JPY 500 per month, including tax
Renews automatically each month. No additional charge per search is planned for ordinary, manually requested explanations while reading.
- Subscription term and total payments
- Renews monthly until cancellation is completed. There is no obligation to purchase multiple months.
Twelve monthly payments of JPY 500 total JPY 6,000 including tax. This is an illustration of total payments, not an annual contract or minimum subscription term.
- Other costs
- Users are responsible for devices, internet and communications charges, and books or other purchases required to use Kindle. Folemi charges no shipping or contract administration fee.
- Payment methods
- Direct purchase on Mac: card payment through Stripe is planned.
iPhone and iPad: Apple in-app purchases are planned.Available payment methods, currencies, and amounts will be shown on the final confirmation screen once sales begin.
- Payment timing
- The first payment is taken when the purchase is confirmed. Later payments follow the renewal dates and billing terms of the purchase provider. Apple may process renewals before the period ends. Actual bank debit dates depend on the card issuer and other providers.
- When service begins
- After sales launch, paid features will generally be available immediately after payment. If a purchase is not reflected, check the subscription status or contact support instead of purchasing again.
- How and when to cancel
- Stripe：Open the Stripe portal from Folemi’s subscription management and stop renewal before the next renewal date and time.
Apple：Stop renewal in Apple’s subscription management. To avoid renewal, we recommend completing this at least 24 hours before the renewal date.Apple’s cancellation instructions should also be reviewed.
There is no cancellation fee. Access continues through the paid period, then renewal stops. Deleting the app or signing out does not cancel a subscription.
- Returns, cancellation, and refunds
- As a digital service, there are no physical goods to return. Refunds or prorated refunds for a user’s change of mind after service begins are generally not offered.
Rights concerning duplicate charges, inability to provide service attributable to the operator, and cancellation or refunds required by law are not limited. Contact support if there is a problem. For Apple purchases, request refunds through Apple’s process.
The cooling-off system under Japan’s Act on Specified Commercial Transactions does not apply to these online sales. This notice does not limit rights under other laws.
- Requirements and availability
- The Mac development build is currently being tested. It requires an Apple silicon Mac, operating-system permissions to read selected text, and an internet connection. Kindle integration supports short words and passages that Kindle for Mac allows you to copy.
iPhone and iPad versions are in preparation. Supported operating systems, devices, and free storage for general release will be listed here and on the download page before sales begin. Compatibility with every Mac, iPhone, or iPad is not currently guaranteed.
- Purchase periods and limits
- Paid purchases are not currently accepted. Any limits on availability periods or eligible users will be shown on the purchase screen after launch. One active subscription on the same Folemi account will cover supported devices without additional device purchases.
